Naughty Dog 30th Anniversary Fan Art Design Contest
It's time for you to get in on the Naughty Dog 30th Anniversary celebration. Read about upcoming art shows and contests.
Our 30th Anniversary art book has gone to print and will be ready in the coming months. We’re excited to show you our historical body of work. Now it’s time to involve you more directly in celebrating thirty years of Naughty Dog. We teamed up once again with We Love Fine and are pleased to announce the Naughty Dog 30th Anniversary fan art design contest.
We’ve seen some truly incredible fan art over the years. It is now your chance to show us the best of the best and win big. So get ready as submissions need to be sent in between July 8 and August 5, 2014.
Before we go into the contest prizes we wanted to point out the recent announcement of our involvement with Lucca Comics and Games festival in Italy. One of our Art Directors, Robh Ruppel, will be attending as the guest of honor to give a presentation, a workshop, and oversee the development of the art show we’ll have on-site there.
Speaking of art shows, you can win some amazing prizes in our 30th Anniversary fan art design contest. The Grand Prize Winner will win a trip to our United States art show at Gallery Nucleus where their work will be featured in the exhibit. They will also get a tour of our studio. Other prizes include copies of select Naughty Dog games and a signed, limited edition copy of The Art of Naughty Dog book. Grand prize will be determined by fan votes.
There are also special prizes awarded at the discretion of our guest judges. Details can be found on the contest page. You’ll have to be very, very good as the judges for the contest are Gallery Nucleus and none other than our current Naughty Dog Co-Presidents, Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, and the founders of Naughty Dog, Jason Rubin and Andrew Gavin. All winning designs will be made into apparel that can be purchased on the We Love Fine website.
