Photo Mode Collection: Unforgettable Characters

Over the last 10 years, our team has consistently been moved by all the ways you have shared how much of an impact the characters of The Last of Us have had on you. With that in mind, for the second of our Photo Mode challenges celebrating The Last of Us’ 10th anniversary, it only felt right to ask our talented virtual photography community to submit images highlighting the unique personalities of The Last of Us’ characters.

And, of course, you did not disappoint, with so many incredible photos submitted capturing the essence of Joel, Ellie, Abby, and beyond. It’s beautiful to see everything from Ellie’s bright, playful spirit to the subtle pain behind Marlene’s stare represented in your submissions. It’s always difficult to choose our favorites, but the 15 images below truly show the emotional range and complexities of each character, and your talents of highlighting them through Photo Mode.

As you can see, you all showed Ellie a lot of love in this challenge. We saw so many amazing shots of her, it was hard to pick just a few. You also showed up in a big way for our expansive cast, capturing great moments of Lev, Yara, and Marlene. You always rise to the challenge and it’s so much fun for us to see your creativity!
